Main Questions
Well, what do you think?
You can play as a wolf, mate with other wolves (members), have pups, create packs, and much more! We are the first to create a role-play based website!
How do you mate with other wolves?
You just simply ask them to become your mate. But, of course, they have to be your crush first! Anyway, if they accept, you are known as mates. To have pups... well, you just ask a member if they would like to be known as your pup! But,of course, that member will have to be a lower level than you!
How to level up and earn DP and XP?
Well, you message an administrator that you either want to attack a wolf (member), or an enemy. If you win, you will earn XP and DP. If you lose, you will lose DP and sometimes, points.
Are there going to be more things?
As in what? Quests, Enemies, Ranks, Competitions?
Well, yes, of course! We have just created more ranks for you impatient people!
Anyhow, We will make new things for the site. As for the quests, you will randomly receive one. For competitions, some. Our members can make thoses also! If you are ever bored, just contact an adminstrator if you want more of something, like Ranks!
Costumes
There are four 'default' colors of wolves available when you sign up on the site. However, you'll notice that many players have unique and colorful wolves, which are often referred to as Custom Wolves.
What should I include in the description, so the artist can color my wolf perfectly?
If you are not coloring your own template, a staff artist can color it for you. You will be asked to describe what you want, and here are a few tips to keep in mind so the artist knows precisely what you want:
- Be clear and concise. If possible, provide hex codes for desired colors. If your wolf has stripes or other markings, describe them in full.
Bad Example: My wolf has a red star on his nose.
Good Example: My wolf has a five-point red (#DB2645) star across the bridge of his snout. The top of the star should be pointing towards his nose.
- If possible, provide reference images, even if it's just a colored lineart that you did in five minutes. This will help the artist with marking placement and color.
What is and isn't allowed in coloring Custom Wolves?
There are a few things that will almost guarantee that your custom will be rejected:
- Using pure black (#000000) on the majority of your wolf.
- Bright colors used tastelessly. If it looks like a neon rainbow vomited on your wolf, chances are it will be rejected.
- Excessive editing of the base. Additions like wings or small items like jewelry are fine, but anything more than that and you start running the risk of having your custom rejected. Keep in mind, we are more likely to accept an edited custom if you do it yourself. If in doubt, ask a staff member if something is acceptable.
How do I know the staff got my description?
They got it. But, if you're still unsure, you can message any staff member and ask them to double check.
Why do I have to pay for a costume wolf?
What do you think? we always do our work for free? Wolve-Haven's artists did EXTREMELY hard work making the costumes! The free orders were LIMITED!
How long will it take for me to get my Custom Wolf after I've placed the order?
Depending on the current work load, expect it to take anywhere from two days to two weeks. Keep in mind that the artists are all volunteers, and do this in their spare time.
I have another question that isn't covered in this FAQ!
Feel free to make a post on the forums, or message a staff member directly! We are happy to answer questions. Asking where to post the question?
